Almost like the Apple is Floating

Smallest Footprint on 5th Avenue?

The entrance is all that is above the street and the store is actually below ground. The neat thing is that from the outside you can see down to the store level, and from inside you see the lights and buildings from around you. Looks really cool. And as silly as this may sound, the elevator ride is really cool!

Apple Store on 5th Avenue

This picture was taken just moments after I walked two feet away from Dr. Phil. He was saying that as soon as he got settled they were going to look for the Apple Store, which was about 50 feet away!

The store is open 24 hours and at 10:30 pm every computer and ipod had at least one person at it. Crazy! Mental note... Buy Apple Stock.

Alberta Bound

Heading back to Calgary, Grande Prairie, Brooks and Banff on this trip. Longest trip of the year. Both for days at 14 and install days in a row at 13.

The girls are off to Kenora for spring break, so they shouldn't miss me that much.

Stopover in Winnipeg

Well, done in Calgary for this week. Brief stopover in Winnipeg on my way to Ottawa this weekend. The first install day there were all kinds of hardware issues, but went pretty smooth the rest of the way.

Toyota Prius Cab

Riding to the airport in a Toyota Prius cab. Good thing I am pretty svelt, there is not much room for a lot of people or luggage.

But it is a nice quiet ride, and I know we won't get lost because it has GPS. But why do these guys need to have radio so loud?

Off to Calgary today!
